Building on its expertise from both commercial and research projects, in the context of Serenity, ATC will lead the activity A8: Exploitation & Dissemination focusing on market analysis, management of open source, business planning and identification of exploitation prospects for the project results. ATC will also be involved in the integrated activity A6 - SERENITY supporting environment focusing on the provision of the Serenity Pattern specification and Management tools, Serenity Architecture and Serenity Framework. ATC will also participate in the horizontal activities A1-A5 so as to follow closely related developments needed for its work in integrated activity A6 and its main involvement will be in A2: Workflow and Services Focus area, where it will participate in the development of workflow security analysis and pattern verification tools.
The Serenity results are expected to enable ATC to consolidate key knowledge in the provision of security solutions in its own portfolio, further improving and differentiating its offering by adding respective functionality. Expertise gained in this project will enable ATC to enhance its portfolio of products and services, thus increasing its competitiveness in its local markets and eventually strengthening its position in the wider-EU marketplace.The business where ATC activity mainly focuses (i.e. Banking and Finance, Media, Retail) place a very high degree of importance on security issues. Thus improving the security aspects of its offering is a substantial advance and differentiation point for the Company.
