Relying on its commercial and research expertise, Atos will lead the vertical integration activity A6, i.e. Serenity’s supporting environment which focuses on the provision of Serenity’s integrated framework, on the infrastructure which is comprised of security mechanisms, support for requirements definition and mechanism selection, monitoring and reaction mechanisms for heterogeneous and dynamic computing environments. Besides, Atos will take part in A2, the workflows and services focus area where it is to help develop tools for workflow security analysis and static workflow validation. As a member of A5, Atos will also participate in the development of Serenity Integration schemes. However, Atos remains a commercial enterprise and thus is also involved in A8 and A9, i.e. exploitation and dissemination and Serenity’s industrialisation and business.
