A paper in the “Studies in Ethics, Law, and Technology” Journal identifies the challenges raised by AmI in terms of privacy and data protection.
In the latest issue of the “Studies in Ethics, Law, and Technology” Journal (Jan. 2008, Berkeley Electronic Press), a paper from Antoinette Rouvroy, Senior researcher at the Information Technology & Law Research Center (CRID), University of Namur, deals with “Privacy, Data Protection, and the Unprecedented Challenges of Ambient Intelligence". This 54 pages paper is available online at the Berkeley Electronic Press. “Studies in Ethics, Law, and Technology” is a peer-reviewed and policy-focused journal that examines the ethical and legal issues that arise from emerging technologies.
