SERENITY aiming at building a community focusing on the first security framework for Ambient Intelligence systems

Paris, France

A reference website has just opened to raise awareness and promote results of adaptive service-oriented security architectures developed by 15 R&D teams from 9 different countries.

Paris, July, 31st, 2006 - Software companies, research institutions and leading-edge industrials working in the European R&D consortium Serenity announce the opening of their web portal http://www serenity-forum.org. The Serenity web portal is designed to keep stakeholders informed of up-to-date results, draw feedback and refine results. Thereby, the consortium hopes to create a must-go place for scientific and industrial debate on security and dependability issues in AmI (Ambient Intelligence) and thus gather an entire community of stakeholders around the issues it tackles. As of today, each one of its eight specific activities has already provided a thorough state-of-the-art review which is available on-line.
