Thales’s involvement in Serenity

  • Within the new Information System architecture principle required to provide Ambient Intelligence Services
  • Using existing Web Services and business process orchestration tools and standards

Exploitation strategy

Thales will benefit from the results of the Serenity framework especially in its support for e-Business and e-Government applications. With the Serenity framework, Thales will be able to secure Posip framework (Process Oriented Platforms) with enhanced security features suitable for the dynamic Future Ambient Intelligence environments.

Therefore, Thales will have the opportunity to disseminate and exploit the Serenity results within the Thales group and its main civil and military customers. It will promote the results of Serenity and encourage its customers to use them to support high level security requirements.

In order to do so, various tools will be used:

  • Presentation tools (written audiovisual or electronic) such as Thales internal magazines (Login to Thales), On-line media (Internet, Intranet-Thalesweb), Group external customer magazine (Future). Thales also plans to take advantage of press relations, exhibitions, sponsorhips, public events.
