The IEEE Computing Society has released the first 2008 issue of its “IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing” Journal (January-March 2008 Volume 5, No. 1).

This quarterly journal publishes archival research results focusing on research into foundations, methodologies, and mechanisms that support the achievement systems and networks that are dependable and secure to the desired degree without compromising performance.
According to its editor-in-chief, the number of submissions has reached approximately 190 papers per year.
