This observation and alert Work package will provide real-world background information to the Focus and Integrated Activities of the project, to enable a continuous alignment of the project objectives with the needs of the market.

The first 18 months of the project will be aimed at the studying of existing Secure and Dependable solutions and the Market Analysis. A complete Industry and competitive Analysis

will be delivered at the end of the period.

This deliverable will summarise the state of the art in industry where Security and Dependability are significant and will present the aspects that SERENITY has to cover, from a market point of view.

This deliverable will report the existing market and research trends with respect to Security and Dependability and will identify industries and sectors are most suitable for the application of the SERENITY outcomes.
